About Us
Coaching 4 Christlikeness is a life-on-life discipleship program created by the College of Athens (CoA).
At CoA, we offer Kingdom-focused teaching for the purpose of equipping individuals who will live and minister out of their identity in Christ as evidenced by transformed values, actions and capabilities including:
- an effectual understanding of who God is;
- an understanding, interpretation, and application of biblical Truth;
- a redeemed mindset, life focus, and Christian worldview;
- an abiding personal relationship with Jesus through the indwelling of His Holy Spirit;
- joyful, obedient surrender to the will of the Heavenly Father and His Word;
- an understanding and effective use of their power and authority as believers; and
- the ability to lead and disciple others into Christ-likeness within community.
All C4C coaches have been trained and equipped by CoA. After certification, each C4C coach operates independently under the recommended C4C guidelines. CoA is not responsible for the actions and behaviors of any individual coach.
The goal of Coaching 4 Christlikeness is to help restore and equip you to live from a place of wholeness in Christ, empowered for your personal journey through all aspects of who you are—body, soul, and spirit. Are you interested in becoming the utmost best version of you in Christ and knowing how God created you with an important purpose in His larger story? Do you value application and experience as key components for growing in Christ?
Through participation in the C4C coaching model, you will experience one-on-one discipleship that includes the teaching, mentoring, counseling, and coaching tools needed to effectively engage in life-on-life transformation. Through the 12-month experience, you will gain:
• A right view of self that begins and ends with Christ;
• A lifestyle that is fueled, led, and empowered by God’s Word and Holy Spirit intimacy; and
• Experiential application of the tools and concepts taught through the 4-part model:
Part 1: Identity – Identifying the “Gold Standard”
“As Jesus is, so are we in this world.” –1 John 4:17
Part 2: Inheritance – Redeeming Christ in Us
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” –2 Corinthians 5:17a
Part 3: Invitation to Intimacy – Spiritual Formation: The Pathway to Life with God IN Christ
“I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.” –John 14:20
Part 4: Impact—The Called Life
“In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” –Romans 8:37
